SZPA Vision
Honoring the past. Educating for the future.
The Sheikh Zayed Private Academies are a group of schools established to offer students a blended curriculum that promotes a strong sense of Emirati identity within an international framework. Our academies rated (Outstanding) on the National Identity Mark Framework evaluation.
This outstanding global education provides students with increased opportunities as they move beyond the school setting and into the workplace.
The schools’ founding vision included the belief that, for the current and future generations of students to take their place as leaders in UAE society, they would be more effective if they understood the culture and heritage of their nation.
In addition to a vibrant, quality education, students would require highly developed Arabic literacy skills and a deep knowledge of the UAE’s values and culture. These beliefs are embodied in the school’s values which are to develop successful young leaders who are confident, self-reflective, and global citizens.
The Sheikh Zayed Private Academies (SZPA) comprise The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls (SZPAG) and The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys (SZPAB). Both schools offer a premiere academic education to children from Pre-KG through grade 12. They are co-educational from Pre-KG through grade 3. From grade 4 onwards, the schools are single-gender: girls-only at SPZAG and boys-only at SZPAB.
Honoring the past. Educating for the future.
The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy aims to honor the past and educate for the future by developing confident, responsible, and caring young people of integrity who are well-educated and prepared to meet the challenges in an ever-changing world.
The Sheikh Zayed Private Academies employ a set of values that inspire high intellectual performance. They promote each student’s moral, emotional, and physical well-being to ensure success.
Pursue excellence in all that we do:
The Guiding Principles encompass beliefs and values which guide the SZPA in all circumstances, irrespective of changes in its goals or strategies. They help to create a culture where everyone understands what is important.
Learning is challenging, whilst accessible to individual needs, interests, and aspirations. Through learning experiences that help to engage and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, students have an appreciation of how learning and knowledge are applied in a real-world context.
Students own their learning, are creative and reflective, and can speak to their personal goals and motivations.
Students have a strong sense of their own culture, values, and traditions; while fostering an active awareness and appreciation of global cultures through open-mindedness, tolerance, respect and humanity.
